Where to purchase your Chevrolet Camaro

without comments

In the early part of 1967, the Chevrolet Motor Division of General Motors had decided to release its superb auto model dubbed as Chevrolet Camaro.  This auto was actually developed to overpower the acclamation for Ford’s Mustang.  It has got a compact size, superb style, and sporty look.  In this case, it’s been considered as a pony car.

The Camaro vehicle of Chevrolet really includes five generations.  The 1st one has in reality a unibody construction with a convertible and coupe body styles.  It has an innovative GM F-body platform rear-wheel drive, new configuration of front-engine, 2 doors, and 4 seats.  The second generation of Chevy Camaro on the other hand, was established in the month of February 1970.  It is bigger in comparison to the first generation and so, it is much heavier.  However, it has a unibody construction and a platform of an F-body.  It also includes a front suspension of A-arm, leaf springs, as well as a front secondary frame.  It was then in 1982 when the third generation of Camaro was first introduced in the auto market.  It has modern features like 16-inch wheels, four tube engines, 4-speed mechanical transmission, 5 speed manual transmission, up to date fuel injection, multipurpose rear door body, and cylinder Turbo Hydramatic.  Thus, it is said to be more high tech than the two first generations.  The 4th generation conversely, has 6-speed manual transmission, anti-lock brakes, V-6 or V-8 engines, and notable traction control.  The last and recent generation of Chevy Camaro has just been released in the market early this year with more improved characteristics.  As a matter of fact, it already has 6-speed manual and automated transmission shift for easy automobile maneuvering as well as a coupe body structure keeping the genuine identity of Camaro.

Indeed, Chevrolet Camaro is a striking car model.  It comes in several generations with unusual traits which will definitely astonishment any car user.  Thus, there isn’t any wonder as to why it has successfully regained its acceptance in these times.

with one comment

The Hummer H3 is an SUV or sports use car from Hummer division of American automobile manufacturer General Motors.  The H3 is based on the same automobile that also underpins other GM automobiles such as the GMC Canyon and Chevrolet Colorado pickup lorries, the GMT355.  The H3 was the first Hummer model made by GM and is also the tiniest Hummer model.  The auto is presently assembled and produced in 2 factories, the Shreveport, Louisiana factory of GM and the Port Elizabeth plant found in SA.  There are 2 versions of the H3 currently available – the SUV in its normal midsize and the H3T, the midsize pickup.  It is believed that close to 150,000 units of the H3 have been sold in the U.  S.  alone.

The H3 has an in-line 5 front engine with a 3,651 cc 3.7 liters capacity.  The engine features a bore measuring 3.8 inches, a stroke measuring 4 inches, double overhead cam, 10 compression ratio, four valves per cylinder LLR, and variable valve timing/camshaft.  The four-wheel drive system is a full-time, two-speed, and electronically controlled.  This system makes the car fitting for on-road and off-road driving appropriate in all conditions.  Optional features include electronic locking rear and front differentials, wiring harness, and a trailer hitch.  Meanwhile, the H3T is a crew cab pickup truck version of the H3 model.  Its bed, which measures five feet, positions it between a full-size truck and a mid-size wagon.

safety features of the SUV include anti-lock four-wheel disc brakes, electronic stability control, LATCH child-seat anchor, tire-pressure monitoring, and brake-controlled traction control.  Side-curtain airbags are also standard in all H3s and H3Ts, but was a non compulsory feature till 2008.  The H3′s dimensions for the existing 2008 model are 186.7 in ( length ) by 74.7 in ( width ) by 73.2 in ( height, which was shorted by .5 inches compared to the 2005-2007 model ).
