F1 Monaco Grand Prix 2010
This year’s Monaco grand prix was certainly one of the most exciting races for last few years. There were crashes, mechanical failures, tempered flared and skills involved in this race. I was all pumped because of this race and I wanted to got for a nice drive in my Audi TT roadster or my dad’s Audi Q5 which we got few months ago from used cars garage not so long ago. It was a terrible idea of me because in that hype I forgot how many speed cameras there are and also Audi is not as fast as F1 machines. So I should just stick to watch the race on TV other than drive an Audi in a 30mph road.
It was a beautiful afternoon in Monaco for a competitive race. The distance of the race is 260.520km and the length of the circuit is 3.340km. The race started with the Australian Mark Webber in pole position of red bull team and just behind him the Polish Robert Kubica of Renault team. Behind Webber and Kubica was the talented German Sebastian Vettel in 3rd grid for a start. Many people are backing the German to win F1 championship this year after last year.
The race was interrupted few times, which brought safety car in to the track few times because of some horrific crashes. Sebastian Vettel got a terrific start who tipped Kubica but couldn’t tip Webber and the race started with Mark Webber leading, Vettel second and Kubica third. Every time Webber pulled away a bit from the rest of the pack the safety car was called in and everyone caught up with Webber. Safety car played its part to make the race interesting as Webber couldn’t pull away. At the end of the race after 78 laps it was indeed the Australian who too the chequered just in front of Vettel and then Kubica who finished third.
The race highlight has to be Webber’s win but let’s not forget Alonso’s fantastic race from 23rd position to finish 6th it was a great race from the Spaniard.

Why Fernando Alonso to Ferrari Would Be Good For F1
The 2008 F1 season has revealed much. Ferrari has a great car, but needs a motivated, master driver. Fernando Alonso has returned to prominence, but needs a better car. Are you think what I am thinking?
Mention Formula One and the same criticisms are spewed out. There is no real fire. Drivers do not try to pass one another enough. The personalities are to boring. There is no real passion with the teams.
I propose that the only way to add life to F1 is to get a good, vicious rivalry going. Yes, McLaren and Ferrari have a go every so often, but we need individuals involved to really get the blood up and boiling.
How great would a driver rivalry be? Look at last year. Alonso and Hamilton went at it so hard on the same team that they forgot about Kimi and let him win the title. It made for great entertainment and racing.
Well, the rivalry this year has lost a bit of the bite. Why? Until recently, the Renault of Alonso was a mid pack car at best. Ah, but it is improving and Alonso has perked up. He is looking feisty once again and Hamilton is in his sights.
The two dominant teams in F1 are, of course, McLaren and Ferrari. The difference this year seems to be the team for Ferrari is riddled with errors. This means that the superior driving of Hamilton has made up for a slightly lacking car.
Now picture Alonso in a Ferrari in 2009. Alonso is like Schumacher in many ways. He would whip that team together and the gaffs would disappear. He is also an excellent driver, particularly in the wet. Do you really think it would not work?
Who would Alonso replace? The obvious answer is Raikkonen. I love Kimi, but he is done. He may have a contract for next year, but Ferrari would be crazy not to let him go. Do not be surprised if something does not come together in the offseason.
When it comes to Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso, you simply cannot sit on the fence. You love one of them and think the other is a no good punk. Whatever your choice, a rivalry built around these two drivers would be epic.
The first race of the season comes up. On the front row we find our two combatants. Lewis Hamilton in the McLaren. Fernando Alonso in the Ferrari. Tell me you would not pay a pretty penny to see turn one of that race!
If Alonso ends up at Ferrari, the number of plots and subplots would be staggering. One has to wonder if Bernie will start moving behind the scenes. Can you imagine the interest in the 2009 season if such a rivalry came to be?

The Amazing Ferrari Brand
Ferrari cars, are one of the most wanted vechiles on the planet, usually due to both the compaines and vechiles reputations, they are also regarded as a sybmol of success in certain parts of the world. As time passed, Ferrari built cars either for the race track or the road, as it was impractical to make dual purpose automobiles. In 1987, to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the company that bore his name, Enzo Ferrari personally introduced the F40. The X1′s real secret is how Wright engineers it all to keep the car in optimum race mode whenever you hit the accelerator. Company founder Enzo Ferrari himself, always felt that design of the road cars should stem from the racers. Therefore, it was entirely logical that the company’s latest creation should bear his name The Enzo, built in a limited run of 399, is an outstanding expression of the concept of extreme sportiness, developed for road use, yet epitomising the most advanced concepts of Formula 1 racing technology Ferrari set out to develop the Enzo as an integrated system designed for extreme performance, in which even the limits of the performance achievable by the driver were enhanced, thanks to a man-machine interface typical of Formula 1 . Obviously this sort of cars are difficult dreams to achieve for someone interesting in buy a ferrari , trust me: they are not cheap.
So far, the Enzo has proven to be stable when cornering. Its powerful engine, however, sometimes makes the car a bit difficult to control. It’s styling, obviously borrowed from Enzo’s, aerodynamic in nature, allows it to go over 200 km/hr. Obviously not intended for casual driving or cruisin’, this is a vehicle for those in some serious need for speed. The most poweful Enzo-sourced V12 engine from Ferrari is powered with a traditional 6-speed manual transmission along with the 6-speed sequentail mannual gearbox, also called the F1 SuperFast. The MagneRide active suspension system is another important feature that contributes to a smooth driving experience to this sporty vehicle.
Before he established his own auto company, Enzo worked for Alfa Romeo during the 20s. Ferrari soon became the manufacturer of prestigious vehicles, and while the company still partakes in racing endeavors, the wealthy and elite covets the models produced by Ferrari. Enzo Ferrari’s division was small enough to be unaffected by this. Because he was prohibited by contract from racing for several years, the Scuderia briefly became Auto Avio Costruzioni Ferrari, which ostensibly produced machine tools and aircraft accessories.
The lack of a competitive engine for the British teams changed in 1962 and Ferrari failed to win a race. Ferrari was also racked by internal politics which resulted in the departure of eight top Ferrari executives including Carlo Chiti. On these occasions, an official team of technicians will be on hand to provide any assistance and support required by the Client Test Drivers. In addition to these unique official events, Clients will also be able to take their cars out on the track independently during private sessions. Their aura was not based on mere looks but on Ferrari’s superior engines and the enormous success of its racing teams. Body design mattered, of course, and the cars’ power was translated by Pininfarina into aerodynamic lines and sharply contoured details
