The Local Paper Might Not Be a good option to get New Car Deals

without comments

As Soon As I qualified in my test I was basically actually looking forward to acquiring one of the cheap new cars on the market, because the beat up vehicle my partner had bought for me to be able to learn in had got to the end of its life. I’d been able to keep a fair amount of cash by working a double shift in the nursing home two times a week and also was getting excited about seeking out the best deal I could possibly locate. Like the majority of spouses, mine wished to be in charge of the shopping operation when it came to affordable new cars, however it was something I was definitely going to try and do personally.

I learned that Friday was in fact the day our local news listed various pages of automobile reports as well as vehicles available and I couldn’t wait to see just what would be available to buy.

I’d previously been familiar with driving a well used Mini and so I was ready for one of the cheap new cars that certainly wasn’t too big and I also wouldn’t have too much difficulty parking. Eventually I found an advertisement for a Ka, I thought would be good in my opinion. I wrote a note of the seller’s mobile number, took a deep breath and made the phone call. I informed the vendor that I’d been checking out cheap new car deals and could I come and take a look at the motor car he had on the market. We arranged an occasion and I got there, looking forward to a test out ride with the new car.

The owner did not seem prepared to permit me to take a test out, not even accompanied by him, that I couldn’t fully grasp. Although the vehicle seemed to be in great shape and also the vendor was requesting not nearly as much as the list price, I thought better of purchasing it with no test drive. A lot of people in britain locate good, affordable new cars through ads in their community paper, and some, like me, end up back at their local dealer where they know they’ll go for a test.

If you’re considering best new car deals with your local press, you might want to get a support approach for buying, just to be sure.

Buying a Brand New Car

without comments

We are in the middle of a full blown recession, yet people are still keen to own the latest new cars. No matter how much people are struggling they still love to go out and splash out their hard earned cash on a full blown top of the range motor.

Let’s have a look at a few reasons why people love new cars so much and why they are happy to struggle financially just to drive in luxury.

Peer Pressure
This is probably one of the main reasons why people are buying brand new cars. What is worse than going out in an old heap and then seeing your friends or a family member driving a fantastic top of the range car. People don’t want others to see that they are struggling, so they go out and buy a new vehicle even though they can’t afford to show everyone they have made it in there lives.

Show off
A lot of people want to purchase a new vehicle to show off, they adore all the attention they get from having people look at them when they stop next to traffic lights or pull up in a crowded area.

Speed
Some people love cars that go super fast and they know that by buying a new vehicle it will ultimately fill there thirst for driving at high speeds. New vehicles tend to be capable of much higher speeds. Even diesels are quite quick off the mark.

Relaxation
A lot of people just buy a new vehicle simply for the relaxation factor. This is especially true if people are travelling long distances on a daily basis. They want to unwind and have all of the latest technologies that are available.

Collectors
Some people are quite lucky to be well off. Some of these people are petrol-heads (or gear-heads) and they just love to buy the latest new cars. Their newly acquired cars can often end up unused, sitting on the front drive waiting to be sold off in a few months time. To many wealthy motor enthusiasts this doesn’t really matter as they will have the financial reserves needed to fee their car buying habit.

There is nothing wrong with buying a new vehicle; I myself tend always look at new cars. But make sure that you have the right finances in place to actually afford the vehicle as otherwise you may end up getting yourself into a lot of debt and effectively the debt company may well take back the vehicle from you, leaving you with nothing.

I recommend car leasing as a sensible way to finance the acquisition of all new vehicles. I have my 5 series BMW on a very affordable BMW lease deal and all of my companies commercial vehicles are on very cheap van lease contracts.

Cheap Cars – An Overview

without comments

Many people treat cars like a status symbol. Everyone has heard of the celebrities with massive collections of expensive cars, or custom built garages to accommodate their cars in the heart of an expensive city like New York. But for some people cheap cars are the way to go. Cheap in price doesn’t have to mean cheap in quality. Less expensive can still be functional, and even fun.

Buy a used car if you want to save some cash.  Even luxury models are much less expensive when purchased second hand.  A new term has emerged over the last decade, pre-owned – to denote used cars that are of high quality.  Pre-owned cars have pulled some new car lovers into the used car world.  Think about luxury vehicles.  Some cars like the Mercedes are so well built they are still new feeling after a decade.  In fact, many people have generations of car buyers in their family who always purchase higher end models that are used.Driving Miss Daisy immortalized this concept as Hoak, the driver, kept buying Miss Daisy’s used cars.

Some cheap new cars are quite nice, too. Companies like Hyundai make excellent cars that can be purchased new for under $12,000. A car like the Honda Civic weighs in at about $15,000 for one of the best engineered cars in the world. They get great mileage, last a long time, and retain original value very well. These cars are also much cheaper to maintain than luxury cars that often require more expensive parts and even premium grades of gas.

Another area to look is cheaper, if not really cheap, luxury cars.  The Audi brand is generally at the bottom portion of the price spectrum in the luxury class.  Audi boasts the top engineered cars in the world, bar none.  A less expensive luxury sports car is the Audi TT.

Of course some people want cheap, cheaper, cheapest. They turn to the clunker, the hooptie, the late late model car that was probably old when their parents first bought a car. Teenagers often purchase such a car as their first vehicle. It’s a set of wheels, and it gives them practice for a life time of practical mechanical knowledge. But watch out, the age old adage “You get what you pay for” applies to cheap cars too. It may not seem like such a deal when it won’t start on a cold winter morning.

About Cheap Cars

without comments

Cars are a symbol of power.  Private lots and huge car collections are the fantasy of many celebrity watchers.  But for some people cheap cars are the way to go.  Cheap in price doesn’t have to mean cheap in quality.  Fun can be had with a less expensive car.

One of the ways to obtain a quality car on the cheap is to purchase cheap used cars. Even luxury models are much less expensive when purchased second hand. A new term has emerged over the last decade, pre-owned – to denote used cars that are of high quality. These pre-owned vehicles have even managed to pull some long time new car buyers into the used car market. Consider this with luxury cars. A Mercedes or Lexus is so well built that even 10 year old cars can still be in excellent condition. In fact, many people have generations of car buyers in their family who always purchase higher end models that are used. Remember the chauffeur in “Driving Miss Daisy”? He always bought Miss Daisy’s second hand, luxury cars.

Try the cheaper, not really cheap, luxury cars.  Audi makes luxury cars that compete with Mercedes and Lexus, but generally at the lower end of the price spread for like models.  Nobody beats Audi as far as engineering.

A car that constantly breaks down is no bargain at any price.
